Every term has a permanent identifier you can cite and link to with confidence:

A term's identity does not depend on language, region or version. Labels and definitions are given for each language and, where they differ, for each region, while the term keeps one stable identity.
A source of truth, not a live service
Other tools and ontologies take a versioned snapshot of the dictionary's terms rather than calling it live, so what they cite stays fixed.
