  • Generative Model

    A model generated using algorithmic functions manipulated by the end-user to explore design form or function. A typical use of Generative Models is form-finding, where computational methods are used to drive shape generation, what-if scenarios and structural optimisation. Generative Models are different from Parametric Models and can only be loosely labelled as BIModels (e.g. Bentley's Generative Components is a software specialized in creating Generative Models which can be used as is or later linked into BIModels)
